Jinhu Elementary School Went on a Picnic and Performed at the Banyan Park to Make Good Use of the Environment

Jinhu Elementary School students went on a picnic at Banyan Park! Kinmen has a unique natural environment and forest, but many people do not know it. The Affiliated Kindergarten of Jinhu Elementary School organized a carnival at the Banyan Park a few days ago. Parents were invited to go on a picnic and fly a kite with students at the Banyan Park. Various talent shows were also arranged. Students had a lot of fun and learned the importance of maintaining a beautiful environment.
Under the leadership of Principal Chen Wei-Sin, students from the Affiliated Kindergarten of Jinhu Elementary School had a refreshing field trip and carnival at the Banyan Park, which is full of luxuriant trees with green grass. Lu Guan-Yu, Chairman of the Parent Council of Jinhu Elementary School, also took part in the field trip.
During the event, Jinhu Elementary School especially arranged a picnic and a concert. Students from each class performed on stage, while other participants had a picnic on the grass. Later, parents and students were grouped to participate in a treasure hunt at the Banyan Park; students also had fun in making and flying a kite. Last, all the children teamed up to play soccer on the grass and had a great time.
Chen Wei-Sin, Principal of Jinhu Elementary School, indicated that Kinmen had excellent natural resources compared to other highly-developed cities. The goal of this event was to encourage students and parents to make good use of the surrounding environment and to gain a better understanding of their hometown, so as to cherish the natural resources in Kinmen and be more committed to their hometown.
